Golden Arrows Go Down to Kaizer Chiefs in the Dark

Posted by KAY-EL On October - 29 - 2009

What must Golden Arrows do to play a match for 90 minutes without the lights failing? Once again, the Orlando Stadium’s lights went out – this time only for a matter of minutes, but it must put the players off their stride – and Arrows came down to the ground hard as they were beaten by Chiefs 2 – 0 in the PSL clash.

Amakhosi fans will celebrate the goals from Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Kaizer Motaung Jr that handed Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic the win and the three points.

With just a couple of minutes left on the clock some of the lights failed but wisely the referee decided to play out the remaining time in the dark rather than keep fans waiting.
